Atle Pettersen has proven to be one of Norway’s most popular and versatile entertainers.
A stage experience from pop, rock, dance and various TV shows has given him a resumé it is hard to compete with. He has established himself as a solid musician and songwriter, and from 2017 taking a new direction with also releasing songs in Norwegian.
Atle is a natural born TV host, leading NRK-show Beat for Beat every Friday night - Norway’s biggest entertainment program with around 700 000 viewers. He has also hosted the traditional Christmas TV-show NRK Julemorgen, as well as the live music show VG-lista Rådhusplassen, NRK Sommeråpent and Idrettsgallaen.
In 2016, Atle starred in the leading role as Don Lockwood in the musical Singin' in the rain at Folketeatret in Oslo, along with Stian Blipp. The musical was a huge success, running for five consecutive months with more than 80 000 visitors.
Above all, it's as an artist and musician most of us know Atle Pettersen. Music has always been an important part of his life, and over the last few years he has toured as a solo artist besides doing a wide range of event jobs.
